This is something I'm willing to bet money on that you haven't heard.. this is super sweet and so is zope.. There are 2 EPs Loaded People has put out in the last two months, as well as three unreleased tracks (the 1993 tape detritus someone played in Bloghaus, a geneva jacuzzi cover, and a super old personal fav). Haha I met this guy in a turntable room a few weeks ago and I've been meaning to post this post. So I'm going to formally apologize to myself for taking so long. *sorries so sorries*

track 2. ancient hill lyrics:

I laugh at the bell pond
were drowning out in the lake but
oh no way riding on a rowboat
gonna row the rowboat
I laugh at the bell pond
but you're gone and the gators have encroached now
and these will kill us the rest of our lives
these will kill us the rest of our lives

At least we didn't die but if you want we can go
At least ..
At least ..
And if you wait down low there's a place that I know

At least we didn't die but if you want we can go
At least ..
At least ..
And if you wait down low then ..

Won't be looking for you on my time
Won't be looking for you (at least on my time)

Harri's Blues Mix.zip

I know that there are a million blues music experts that will scoff at this mix. It's not meant to be the most expertly crafted, most racially diverse, most historically important, the best of, the most obscure, the most mainstream, the most PURE, the most ANYTHING. It is just a collection of blues songs that I love to death (if you would like to know more about The Blues, read the wikipedia page on it or something). Some of them you may be familiar with, some you may not, but one thing is plain to see from this list: I like songs about sex and drinking and being poor, not so much the political commentary. Expect some dirty business is all I'm sayin.

Lantern Tour Help.

[stolen from lantern's blogspace]

Lantern Has Just Launched a Kick-starter Campaign

Hello all!

I hope the summer is finding you well. It's been hot here in Philly. Anyways as some of you may know my band Lantern is planning a five week tour this fall all across the United States and up to Canada. We have been working on it since the spring time and things are starting to come together. We feel really proud about Lantern and we really want to take the show on the road. We have been working our asses off this past year to get the gears oiled for a tour. We are taking the big step and jumping in with both feet.

But since we are such a young band and aren't able to be working with guarantees or contracts, what we make is what we make. So this is a little scary so we are asking your help in helping us get from place to place!

Your monies will go to...

GAS, a AAA membership, vehicle and music equipment maintenance, and any necessary lodging expenses. We recently purchased a station-wagon that needs a few minor repairs before leaving. Any contributions help and are sincerely and most fully appreciated!

Watch our video here to see what it is all about!
